From 23 to 27 August, our six apprentices took part in an exciting and varied week on the topic of sustainability. The aim was to embed this important topic in their minds and, as a result, to implement the "Food waste and waste separation" project at the Schweizerhof. During the five days, the apprentices gained an insight into various areas and businesses. They dealt with climate change, climate protection, sustainability in tourism and the hotel industry and learnt about the philosophy of Hansjörg Ladurner's Scalottas Terroir. They were out and about in nature, met the Lenzerheide forest ranger and worked on their project work by analysing waste. All in all, it was an instructive week that is sure to have a lasting effect.
